Welcome to the Executives Association of Long Beach Member Directory

The long standing slogan of the association has been "Business is our Business". The Executives Association of Long Beach (EALB) was founded in 1922. It is an association of Long Beach business executives, each of whom represents his or her respective firm at the management level.

The Long Beach Executives Association is a member of the International Executives Association, a worldwide group of similar associations. It is not a service club, a social group or fraternal order. The EALB is a networking group for business owners and high level executives. It has but one unique objective: to capture the natural bond of common interest which exists between business executives and by regular weekly meetings, develop and enjoy a brand of fellowship conducive to the creation of additional and profitable business for all its members.

It does not require its members to patronize each other, but it does provide opportunities for each member to promote their products or services and it can open doors that otherwise are closed to desired business. Members of the EALB often consider the association as an extension of their own business or profession.

About the Owner:

Dan started his work career in 1964 when he was 13. He worked summers and weekends at Rolling Hills Golf Club, beginning as a starter and retiring as assistant pro shop manager in 1966 and this is where he fell in love with golf. At the age of 16, Dan worked for his families’ oil tool business which was started by his grandfather in 1905. He worked at the machine shop, located in San Pedro, starting on the floor as a sweeper. He then worked as an assemblyman, truck driver and then as a machinist while attending school. Upon graduation, Dan set up an expediting department and then joined the sales department as a sales engineer in 1975. The company was sold to Hughes Tool Company in 1976. Dan moved to England in 1977 setting up a UK subsidiary, Regan Hughes, Ltd., and held the position of European Sales Manager until 1980. He moved back to Long Beach and was Far East Sales Manager for Hughes Offshore International, Inc., responsible for sales in the Eastern Hemisphere.  Dan, wanting to stay in Southern California, left the oil Industry in 1982 and held a few different sales jobs, which included Loan Officer, Insurance Sales and was a Stock Broker.  In 1987 Dan returned to corporate sales joining United States Banknote which later merged into American Bank Note. This sales job brought Dan into the printing industry, where he sold Financial and Security Printing in the Western United States and held the position of Vice President for the company.  In 2004, Dan bought Heritage Press, located in Signal Hill which specializes in commercial and security printing.
