While Scott has been a member once 1978 he can trace his classification roots back to 1961 when his father joined the EALB as an attorney. Scott eventually took over the classification from his father.
He is married to his high school sweet heart, Janie Williams who is a former member and a Past President of the EALB. Together they have two children who are married and enjoy traveling and spending time with their kids and grandkids.
Last week Scott asked for questions to be emailed to him prior to his talk. During his talk he discussed what to do if you get pulled over for drunk driving, the importance of keeping corporate minutes and the difference between a corporation, LLC and sole proprietorships. Multiple questions were asked by members in attendance as well.
Scott's email is "honest lawyer one flight up" and members in the room were happy to confirm that he is indeed honest and they are happy to have his counsel.
If you need a business attorney give Scott a call. If he can't help you he can refer you someone in town who can.
