Vince Bunting of C.H. Topping Brakes, Jennifer Sawday of TLD Law and Corey Vane of A-Throne were our panelists. They were asked to sit on the panel because of the different segments of the membership they represent such as age, length of time in the EALB, length of time in business and stage of business life. The questions asked covered topics like membership benefits, type of leads that are preferred, reasons for staying in the EALB and how they refer the other members of the Execs. After the panelists stated their reasons and opinions the rest of the membership was asked to raise their hand if they felt the same way. This encouraged other members to comment as well especially during the lead session. It was moral building to hear all the positive feedback.
In addition a few "show of hands" questions were asked to the membership to find out who's interested in lead tracking and profit tracking. While not many wanted to track the leads, nearly everyone was willing to gather their financial information and announce at the Thanksgiving lunch on November 13th how much revenue the Execs generated for their business. This was a tradition that was in place for many years that somehow stopped happening. The board wanted to bring it back as long as the membership was interested and willing and they were.
Overall it was a great meeting with lots of good information. The Grand did a great job of making the luncheon feel festive with black tablecloths and purple and orange linens for Halloween. Kellie brought candy for the tables as well. Happy Halloween!
