Welcome to the Executives Association of Long Beach Member Directory

The long standing slogan of the association has been "Business is our Business". The Executives Association of Long Beach (EALB) was founded in 1922. It is an association of Long Beach business executives, each of whom represents his or her respective firm at the management level.

The Long Beach Executives Association is a member of the International Executives Association, a worldwide group of similar associations. It is not a service club, a social group or fraternal order. The EALB is a networking group for business owners and high level executives. It has but one unique objective: to capture the natural bond of common interest which exists between business executives and by regular weekly meetings, develop and enjoy a brand of fellowship conducive to the creation of additional and profitable business for all its members.

It does not require its members to patronize each other, but it does provide opportunities for each member to promote their products or services and it can open doors that otherwise are closed to desired business. Members of the EALB often consider the association as an extension of their own business or profession.

On Monday, June 18th the Executives Association of Long Beach met for their weekly networking luncheon to hear a classification talk from Larry Boren of L.B. Brokerage.

Since 1985, L.B. Brokerage has developed, managed, and sold real estate in the Long Beach area. Originally founded by Larry Boren, Larry has proven that he can adapt to fluctuating economics of the area and still provide clients with excellent customer service when it comes to real estate services. Whether you are looking to sell or buy Long Beach real properties, L.B. Brokerage can help. They also provide services in regards to exchange, lease-options, remodel/restore, reverse delay exchange and more. For over 30 years Larry Boren and friendly and efficient staff at L.B. Brokerage will guide you on how to profit the most from your real estate.

Larry Boren grew up in Southern California, where he received his teaching credentials from Long Beach State in health. Before beginning his real estate business, Larry taught high school for 10 years. Larry is married and has one son.

Larry’s talk focused on how real estate has changed over the last 10 years, especially in the Long Beach area. Larry has noticed that consumers turn first to internet sites, like Zillow and Purple Bricks, and have made seeking out a personal real estate broker their 2nd or 3rd choice. With the housing market bouncing back from the recession, more people have become real estate agents, which has added an influx of realtor choices to the field. Larry believes that it is beneficial to go with a much more experienced real estate company that will guide you through all the steps, including finding the right lender to buying and improving probate homes. Larry believes that going with instant internet answer isn’t always good for the client’s future and letting a seasoned broker help plan your future real estate investments could help keep costs down, like creating a binder that will keep cost of title charges down if you plan to sell the home in a few years.

Additionally, Larry went over the most recent tax changes to the real estate market, including 1031 exchange, reverse exchange and Proposition 13, but as with any tax changes it will vary on any real estate situation. L.B. Brokerage has been servicing the community for over 30 years and will continue to adapt to the market and consumer needs to stay on top of their competition. When considering your next real estate decision, contact L.B. Brokerage to receive that local personal touch and experience for your new real estate endeavor.
