Welcome to the Executives Association of Long Beach Member Directory

The long standing slogan of the association has been "Business is our Business". The Executives Association of Long Beach (EALB) was founded in 1922. It is an association of Long Beach business executives, each of whom represents his or her respective firm at the management level.

The Long Beach Executives Association is a member of the International Executives Association, a worldwide group of similar associations. It is not a service club, a social group or fraternal order. The EALB is a networking group for business owners and high level executives. It has but one unique objective: to capture the natural bond of common interest which exists between business executives and by regular weekly meetings, develop and enjoy a brand of fellowship conducive to the creation of additional and profitable business for all its members.

It does not require its members to patronize each other, but it does provide opportunities for each member to promote their products or services and it can open doors that otherwise are closed to desired business. Members of the EALB often consider the association as an extension of their own business or profession.

On Monday, August 27th the Executives Association of Long Beach met for their weekly networking luncheon to hear from Fernanda Fletcher of Senior Placement Hotline.

For the last 13 years Senior Placement Hotline has continued to serve the elderly when it comes to looking for assisted living or communities in short notice. Fernanda Fletcher who started Senior Placement hotline gives seniors and their families guidance to find the right setup for the individual.

Fernanda Fletcher currently resides in Seal Beach and is from Italian and Lebanese decent. She speaks 6 languages and is a mother of 3 high profile children. Before she started Senior Placement Hotline she ran a daycare for several years. When she decided she wanted a different challenge, she found that social work with the elderly was her calling and went back to school to get her degree in social work. Shortly after that she started her company Senior Placement Hotline.

Fernanda’s talk gave us insight into what her company does. Her company, Senior Placement Hotline helps the elderly find either assisted living within their homes or senior communities in within a short amount of time. Senior Placement Hotline is a free service offered to seniors though Senior Placement Hotline does get paid privately. Working throughout the 4 counties in Southern California, Fernanda and her team work hard to find the best assisted living or in-home care placement service that will work for the needs for each individual by using 3000 resources. Her volume of new customers is about 20 a day and they are usually referred to her by doctors and senior communities. Senior Placement Hotline also specializes in emergency situations for customers who need immediate assistance, or at most a couple of months out, to find a suitable solution for each customer.
