Welcome to the Executives Association of Long Beach Member Directory

The long standing slogan of the association has been "Business is our Business". The Executives Association of Long Beach (EALB) was founded in 1922. It is an association of Long Beach business executives, each of whom represents his or her respective firm at the management level.

The Long Beach Executives Association is a member of the International Executives Association, a worldwide group of similar associations. It is not a service club, a social group or fraternal order. The EALB is a networking group for business owners and high level executives. It has but one unique objective: to capture the natural bond of common interest which exists between business executives and by regular weekly meetings, develop and enjoy a brand of fellowship conducive to the creation of additional and profitable business for all its members.

It does not require its members to patronize each other, but it does provide opportunities for each member to promote their products or services and it can open doors that otherwise are closed to desired business. Members of the EALB often consider the association as an extension of their own business or profession.

On Monday, October 1st the Executives Association of Long Beach met for their weekly luncheon to hear from Eric Speier and Steven Caudillo to give their IEA conference recap. On Thursday, October 4th the Execs hosted their Mixer.

From September 26th through September 28th Eric Speier, of 5 Elements Entertainment, and myself, Steven Caudillo, attended the International Executives Association (“IEA”) Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina as representatives of our Long Beach chapter. During the IEA Conference, Eric and I attended seminars in different areas. Eric focused on learning more about the IEA app which will give anyone access to all our members within the IEA community. Our Execs profile will be updated with new membership information and will be connected to the IEA app. On my side I participated in discussion groups to learn more about the greater IEA and the business connections it provides. There are 46 chapters throughout the U.S. and Canada. Some associations are small and there are others as large as 200 members.  I met with other Executive Directors during those three days and found that they have the same concerns we have in our chapter (i.e. memberships, referrals, and involvement). Suggestions were brought up on how to improve these issues like member only events, professional speakers, and public events like mixer which we just finished.

The IEA Conference gave us an unique opportunity to connect with our other members from all across the globe and build relationships for future referrals and leads. As a reminder, if we ever need a referral outside of our chapter you will be able to find another business through the greater IEA and the IEA app.

Additionally, on Thursday, October 4th, we hosted our Fall Mixer which was originally promoted as Long Beach’s Largest Mixer across multiple publications, social media and flyers. There were about 275 future leads and relationships that came through those doors and we made over $1,100.00 from raffle tickets. If not for all of your participation and your donations it would not have been such a huge success! Thank you again.

Eric Speier is the owner of 5 Elements Entertainment (“5E”) which specialized in web and app development. Headquartered in Santa Monica, California, 5 Elements Entertainment exists to help fuel the ever-changing convergence of technology and media. Eric is also on the board of the IEA and has been a Long Beach member for 5 years.

Steven Caudillo is the Executive Director of the EALB and has been serving the Long Beach chapter since April 2018.
