Welcome to the Executives Association of Long Beach Member Directory

The long standing slogan of the association has been "Business is our Business". The Executives Association of Long Beach (EALB) was founded in 1922. It is an association of Long Beach business executives, each of whom represents his or her respective firm at the management level.

The Long Beach Executives Association is a member of the International Executives Association, a worldwide group of similar associations. It is not a service club, a social group or fraternal order. The EALB is a networking group for business owners and high level executives. It has but one unique objective: to capture the natural bond of common interest which exists between business executives and by regular weekly meetings, develop and enjoy a brand of fellowship conducive to the creation of additional and profitable business for all its members.

It does not require its members to patronize each other, but it does provide opportunities for each member to promote their products or services and it can open doors that otherwise are closed to desired business. Members of the EALB often consider the association as an extension of their own business or profession.

On Monday, March 16th the Executives Association of Long Beach met for their weekly meeting to hear from Harry Goldman of Allen's Flower Market.

Allen’s Flower Market is a family owned and operated flower shop with multiple locations throughout Los Angeles and San Diego and has been in operation for over 30 years. Allen’s supplies every flower need from a single rose to a full wedding or other social event. They are open every day of the year and guarantee same day delivery anywhere we service.

As opposed to many florists, they have a large supply of fresh flowers which customers are welcome to mix and match while our designers stand by ready to create arrangements if that is preferred.

Harry Goldman, the owner and hands-on operator of Allen’s Flower Market, has been in the flower business in one way or another for approximately 50 years. Harry grew up in West LA and received his degree in business from Cal State Long Beach. Harry is married and has 5 children and 5 grandchildren.

Harry’s talk gave us insight into what he offers at his very successful Allen’s Flower Market. Harry imports flowers from all over the world, picking them up either at LAX or in San Diego airport. Harry also sells a wide variety of products like greeting cards, flowering plants, designer arrangements and wine crates at Allen’s. Harry is licensed to sell/deliver or ship wine through Allen’s and has created gift crate with a bottle of wine and flowers. Allen’s has also partnered with Babette Bakery to sell delicious baked goods and chocolates from Godiva.

At Allen’s Flower Market, you are able to walk in, call or use their website to place an order. He delivers all day, evenings, and weekends. During certain holidays he is open 24 hours and even has a taco man on location. Allen’s designs flower arrangements for individuals or can create 300 arrangements or more for large events. His prices are also competitive because he can sell flowers at wholesale cost. Please call Harry at Allen’s Flower Market for all your flowering needs
