During the 100th Presidents Installation we inducted The Executives Association of Long Beach's new president Tom DiLeo of AAG. During the installation we also recognized 7 our previous presidents including our most recent outgoing president Eric Speier of 5 Elements. We also recognized our longest tenured businesses and members, some as early as 13 years ago and our oldest tenured members have been part of the EALB for 46 years!
We inducted our new board members for the 2022-2023 year which includes Dr. Heather Dr. Heather Desh of HD Orthodontics, Dave Sakamoto of Farmers & Merchants Bank, Vinny Bunting of CH Topping Brakes, Nathan Whittacre of Stimulus Technologies, Miguel Garcia of Mikes Auto Collision, Mary Loos of Bixby Neighbors, Jack Skovgard of Long Beach Home Loan Corp, and Jay Beeler of Beeler & Associates.
Sumer Temple, Daughter of our late distinguished member Don Temple presented this year’s Executive Association of Long Beach Don Temple award to Jack Skovgard of Long Beach Home Loan.
Today was about inducting our new president Tom DiLeo. Tom has been a member since 2016 and has served on our Board of Directors. His goal for his presidency is for our association to bring in 20 new members this year and to reflect the city of Long Beach and have a more diverse membership. Tom also is thinking of our current members and is finding new ways to bring more value to the EALB.
Thank you everyone who attended this year’s installation. Tom, you have the full support of the Execs and we are excited to see what you achieve for 2022-2023 and beyond.

Membership Promotion
When you refer a new member, you can have a choice in one of two options
1. Have your dues waived for one quarter.
2. Have your dues, as well as the new members dues cut in half for one quarter.
New member has to be in good standing for the first 6 months to receive the promotion.
We have introduced two new types of membership.
Affiliate Member
• Dues are $150 per quarter
• Pays $50 initiation fee to cover badge and T-shirt expense
• Pays $18 for lunch at each meeting attended
• May give and receive leads and give classification talks
• No attendance requirement; may attend showcase and special events
• Entitled to any open classification; no exclusive classification entitlement
• Listed in roster and on web as affiliate member – classification and name only
• Not a voting member and not board eligible
• One-year limit as affiliate member; must become an executive member thereafter
Non-Profit Member
• Dues are $150 per quarter
• Pays $50 initiation fee to cover badge and T-shirt expense
• Pays $18 for lunch at each meeting attended
• May give and receive leads and give classification talks
• No attendance requirement; may attend showcase and special events
• Allows multiple Non-Profits in different categories.
• Listed in roster and on web as Non-Profit member
• Voting member and one Non
• No limit as Non-Profit member
