Welcome to the Executives Association of Long Beach Member Directory

The long standing slogan of the association has been "Business is our Business". The Executives Association of Long Beach (EALB) was founded in 1922. It is an association of Long Beach business executives, each of whom represents his or her respective firm at the management level.

The Long Beach Executives Association is a member of the International Executives Association, a worldwide group of similar associations. It is not a service club, a social group or fraternal order. The EALB is a networking group for business owners and high level executives. It has but one unique objective: to capture the natural bond of common interest which exists between business executives and by regular weekly meetings, develop and enjoy a brand of fellowship conducive to the creation of additional and profitable business for all its members.

It does not require its members to patronize each other, but it does provide opportunities for each member to promote their products or services and it can open doors that otherwise are closed to desired business. Members of the EALB often consider the association as an extension of their own business or profession.

On Monday, April 4th the Executives Association of Long Beach met for the their weekly luncheon to hear from Vinny Bunting and the Long Beach k9 Assoc.

C.H. Topping has specialized in automotive braking systems since 1931.  They are the “one stop brake shop” for anything brake related.  They have a full machine shop, a full service shop, which includes “on the car” work, and they re-line friction surfaces in-house.  They take pride in what they do and are trusted by industry professionals and various car museums.  Their team can handle any brake related challenge. They fix the “tough” braking issues that other shops and local dealerships cannot handle.  They also do the brakes on “daily drivers”.  Whether you drive a Honda or a vintage Ferrari race car they are able to maximize your braking potential and fine tune the braking system to meet your needs.

Vince Bunting has owned C.H. Topping brakes for over 35 years. Vinny Bunting, Vince’s son, has been helping his dad in the business since he was a kid. Vinny was born and raised in Long Beach, he graduated with a degree in fire science and mechanical engineering from Cal State Long Beach. He has been offered jobs at SpaceX and JPL but has instead to work with his father at CH Topping and work on special projects on the side. Vinny is now an associate member of the Execs

In 1979, the non-profit organization began supporting a K-9 unit for the Long Beach Police Department, though it has no official connection with the city of Long Beach. The Association, along with the handlers, purchase the dogs, mostly Belgium Malinois and Dutch Shepherds from overseas and provide funds for their food and medical care. Around the 1990’s German Shepards have been replaced with the other breeds due the dogs becoming too large and the possibility of medical issues. Additionally, the Association provides the handler with extensive training in local facilities while they interact with the dogs on a daily basis.

To assist in covering some of the costs the K-9 Association is hosting a car show on May 7th which will debut about 300 cars as well as provide a K-9 demonstration. Vinny and the K-9 Officers Association have worked very hard to provide the Long Beach Police Department with a K-9 unit that is highly regarded as one of the best on the west coast
