The long standing slogan of the association has been "Business is our Business". The Executives Association of Long Beach (EALB) was founded in 1922. It is an association of Long Beach business executives, each of whom represents his or her respective firm at the management level.
The Long Beach Executives Association is a member of the International Executives Association, a worldwide group of similar associations. It is not a service club, a social group or fraternal order. The EALB is a networking group for business owners and high level executives. It has but one unique objective: to capture the natural bond of common interest which exists between business executives and by regular weekly meetings, develop and enjoy a brand of fellowship conducive to the creation of additional and profitable business for all its members.
It does not require its members to patronize each other, but it does provide opportunities for each member to promote their products or services and it can open doors that otherwise are closed to desired business. Members of the EALB often consider the association as an extension of their own business or profession.

Scott grew up in Rochester, New York in a close knit family of six. It was here that he cultivated an innate ability to meet people, create rapport and build life-long friendships. Even today, everyone in the neighborhood and beyond know “Scottie Veitch”.
After graduating high school in 1984, Scott enrolled the State University of New York at Brockport where he quickly immersed himself in a path toward marketing, sales and business strategy. After receiving his Bachelors of Science with a focus on Business Management, Scott was recruited to join one of the most successful payroll companies in the Northeast, Paychex.
He quickly rose through the ranks, transferring from Rochester to Toledo, OH to assume a Sales Executive position at one of the largest satellite offices in the Midwest. Within a very short time, Scott was offered a Vice President of Sales position at an up-start payroll company, Payroll 1, in Southern California. He jumped at the opportunity and made his way out to Long Beach.
Working with Payroll 1, Scott built many solid, long lasting relationships in addition to being well liked by colleagues and clients. When the company was sold, Scott saw the opportunity to start a payroll company dedicated to unparalleled client service to small and mid-size companies. Primary Payroll opened their doors in 2006.
Over the past 10+ years, Scott’s excitement, enthusiasm and dedication toward his employees and clients has been a driving force in growing the business exponentially. Something Scott will look to continue doing far into the future.
On Monday, March 23rd the Executives Association of Long Beach met for their weekly meeting to have a roundtable on how COVID-19 is affecting Execs members.
